Coronet's boats were designed by Richard C. Cole, a prolific naval architect. In 1958, Ole Botved took a Coronet across the Atlantic Ocean, powered with twin Johnson V-50 HP engines. No boats were produced in 1965, but the company had plans to move production to the US for 1966.
