''P-14 Boats'' is a rather interesting case. Three manufacturers seem to be associated with this brand:

Motor Boat Distribution Co. of 2611 N. Rosemead Blvd., El Monte, California.

Hiway Products Inc. of Canby, Oregon, maker of ''Seaswirl Boats''.

Pilot Grove Boat Co., Pilot Grove, Missouri, maker of ''Pilot Boats''.

Also, one P-14 has been found with a tag listing Paramount, California as the place of manufacture. Pacific Fibercraft of Oregon might also have been a manufacturer of P-14 Boats; further research is needed.

From the company's name, Motor Boat Distribution Co. doesn't seem to be a manufacturer of P-14 Boats. Hiway Products lists P-14 like a model in the Seaswirl line of boats in their 1960 brochure. Pilot Grove appears to have done the same with their Pilot line of boats.
