Raymond Loewy was a noted industrial designer active in the mid-20th century. His work in design of consumer products helped define the style of the era. In the field of marine products, he worked on commission for boat and outboard manufacturers as well as related products. His Raymond Loewy Associates design firm handled lots of products from furniture to home appliances and even Greyhound buses.
