Trailcar Boat Trailers

By 1964, Dunbar Kapple, Inc. was taken over by the John Sterling Corporation of Richmond, Illinois but continued to make Trailcar Boat Trailers as a division within the company. An article in the January 1963 issue of Boating Industry magazine indicates the John Sterling Corporation also had a division called "Great Lakes Boats." More information is needed on this boat-building division.
Sam Owen, formerly the owner of Fleetform Boats and affliated with Glass Magic and Dunphy later sold Trailcar Boat Trailers. See his business card below:
