Philip J. Rhodes designed a line of mahogany plywood outboard motor boats for Spartan Shipbuilding Corp. Walter Kretzer, a noted yacht- builder was responsible for fitting and finishing. Elaine Lustig did the color styling for the deluxe Sport model.
