K-S Marine Products

Kilburn-Sauer Co.

This company offered a sternlight that mounted on outboard motors as well as other boat hardware items such as a deck ventilator. Later found listed as K-S Marine Products, Inc. of Oakville, Connecticut. In 1958, K-S Marine Products purchased Kilburn-Sauer Co. Fred P. Sauer who was with the company for more than 45 years retired; Arthur P. Sauer stayed on to help with production and sales. Another family member, Henry J. Sauer filed some patents that were assigned to the company. The company itself was around since at least 1933 when they advertised as providing hardware for Richardson Yachts.
