The News and Courier, Nov 26, 1969 of Charleston, South Carolina reported the Atlantic Dinghy Division of Atlantic Laminates, Inc. leased a 20,000 sq. ft. building for production of small boats. Harold W. Levy was company vice-president and sales manager at this time and stated his company had 45% of the market for row and sail boats under 12 ft. The company planned to build its own factory and employee up to 80 people by the end of 1970.
