Bilt-Well Boat Trailer Company

Vincent J. Miller was sales manager in 1958 (see article below). This company exclusively built "A-frame" trailers. The double hitch design allowed the bed of the trailer to unhitch from a ball mounted on the tongue and tilt to launch or retrieve a boat. The trailer tongue had a separate receiver so it could remain hitched to the tow vehicle.
