Don Thompson left Mercury Outboards and founded FunStruck Products, a marketing company that sold "Mainliner" boats and "Yukon King" snowmobiles made by Moorhead Plastics, Inc. with which it later merged (Yachting, Vol 120, p. 176, 1966; The Rudder, Vol. 83, p. 83, 1967).
