Fibercraft Boats
Pacific Plastics Co.
2727 Seventh Ave., South
Seattle, Washington
Also found listed at 4517 14th N.W., Seattle, Washington.
A likely unrelated company made Fiber Craft Boats in Florida.
As early as 1954, Pacific Plastics made a range of Fibercraft fiberglass boats from 8' to 16' (Yachting, Vol. 96, pg. 140, 1954). The company also made reinforced fiberglass aircraft parts for Boeing and others. In 1956, the company was bought by Durabilt Luggage Co., also of Seattle, with Ben Rosen serving as president. Durabilt made reinforced plastic luggage (Plastics Technology, Vol. 2, pg. 252, 1956).
If you have original photos or advertising literature from this manufacturer, please contact us so that we may preserve and share the history of these old boats.
