Fliv-R Boats
Hains Industries Inc.
Winter Haven, Florida
Also known as the "Flying Flivver", this boat design was originally built in New Prague, Minnesota by The Moderne Cabinet Works. The company described their boat as "The Sports Car of the Waterways." Mercury Outboard Motors used the Flyin' Flivver at its annual Florida press meeting to demonstrate its outboard motors. 38 journalists joined in, racing the Mercury-equipped Flivvers in 7 heats.
