Edwin "Ed" Monk was a naval architect based in Seattle, Washington. He specialized in design of larger cruisers, including some custom boats built by [[Tollycraft]]. According to the 1956 ad below, Ed Monk designed over 2,000 boats since about 1935. Plans by Ed Monk were available from a variety of sources and inspired innumerable home builders.

Edwin "Ed" Monk was a naval architect based in Seattle, Washington. He specialized in design of larger cruisers, including some custom boats built by Tollycraft. According to the 1956 ad below, Ed Monk designed over 2,000 boats since about 1935. Plans by Ed Monk were available from a variety of sources and inspired innumerable home builders.
