Sabre Boats were also produced in the 1960s by Critchfield Marine according to a Feb. 24, 1967 article in the St. Petersburg Times. The dealer for Sabre boats in the St. Petersburg area at this time was Van Bros Chris Craft Inc. It is unknown whether Critchfield was associated with the earlier Sabre Boat and Plastics Manufacturing Inc.
