Found listed as a subsidiary of Grumman Aircraft Engineering Co. Listed later on as Grumman Boats, Inc. and Grumman Allied Industries, Inc. With approval at the December 1961 Pearson stockholder meeting, Grumman and Pearson merged; Grumman Boats was then organized as a division under the Pearson Corp. Grumman Aircraft controlled 62% of the stock in the re-organized company (January 1961 MotorBoating). The company even offered a 8 1/2' sailboat designed by Phil Rhodes.
