This company first started marking boats in 1963 with the S-22 model. In 1964, of their 22' S-22 models won the Miami to Nassau race in the outboard motor division. The boat was driven Howard Weller and the motors were twin stock 1964 Johnson 90 HP motors. The '64 Miami-Nassau race was the roughest on record with 4 to 6' seas and 25 mph winds.
