I have a 1957 (approx - has the teepee mounted winch) Tee Nee trailer that I want to replace the wheel bearings and seals on. Cant read the model/serial plate very well but it's a small and light trailer. Does it take a standard wheel bearing/seal kit like the small shorelines, etc take? Also, does anyone have any secrets on how to get the numbers that are all but wiped out on the serial plate?

Do you have any pictures of the bearings? I have had good luck with McMaster-Carr for a lot of stuff.

If it’s a stamped ID plate, try a thin sheet of paper and a pencil- use the side of the pencil lead to shade in the paper, making an impression of the stamping.

I finally found some on line that I think will work. The I.D.s are right, I just hope the O.D.s are right. I did try a sketching of it but I think it's too far gone to work. I'm going to take a picture in to the DMV and make a guess on the form and hope it works. Thanks for your input guys. Much appreciated.
