Paul,

YEP, there just may be. A generation ago or more, LOTS of otherwise "NOT in the boat business" firms built a few hulls, that were usually a "rip off " of another company's design. = I know where there is a KINGFISH of Texas boat, that is a "knock off" of a 1957-58 Glastron & made by the KINGISH TRAILER CO, here in The Alamo City.
(As best as I can find out, there were a total of FIVE made & only ONE still exists. = I'd say that boats don't get rarer than that.)

Note: For over 15 years, I've tried W/O success to buy the ONLY boat that CAMP COUNTY BOATWORKS built before they went broke, out of a barn near Pittsburg, TX. - The current person who owns the farm, where the boat is, has NO clue as to who actually owns the boat/trailer/25HP Johnson.
Her serial number is: 1.
Her name, given by the designer, is: Texas Fast One.
(Given how little the hull weighs, I'd bet that she WOULD be FAST, even with 25HP.)

yours, satx
