We call her SeaVette. Found her in completely intact condition with original trailer. The later model Johnson 30 was a plus. A year of sanding, painting and varnishing turned out great.
We use her in Newport Beach CA and gets lots of compliments from paddle boarders to million dollar yacht captains. Folks ask why we called her SeaVette.
When I tell them the MFG also made the fiberglass body panels for GM’s Corvettes, they are amazed.
We are not sure of the actual year of the boat or manufacturer of the trailer. I just say it’s a ‘57. We tow her with a red and white ‘86 Chevy K5 Blazer. Really looks good on the road too.

A beauty. My boss at USCG HQ in boating safety in the 80's, was the chief engineer at MFG in the 60's . Not sure if he was there in the 50's. May have been. I know he worked for another manufacturer before MFG. Unfortunately he has gone to the big marina in the sky so i can't ask him. Anyway he told me a lot of stories about MFG boats. You have a real gem.
