Here's a photo I took last month of Eos which was anchored in Oponopu Bay, Moorea. She's the world's largest sailing yacht and is owned by Barry Diller and his wife, Diane von Furstenberg. Eos is 305' long, has 200' high masts and weighs 1,500 gross tons. She's valued in excess of 100 million euros but I think I can cut a deal for less. I'll just have to raise my hourly rates a little and cut back on imported beer.

I don't think so Jan. Can't see you in a blow boat or egg beater.

She has two 2,333 HP MTU diesels. That would work for me. I would just sail all around polynesia, island to island, with about a dozen shapely wahines who would take care of my every need. I think I'll go buy a powerball ticket.

It looks like a Boneyard Boats freebie ad. I'd be glad to rescue the engines & transmissions. My 1940 Elco was in about the same shape when I started...maybe a little better. Based on that restoration, I figure I could put this one in the same shape for right around $400,000. I'd really like to see more photos of the boat if you have them. It's tough to identify from that angle but my best guess would be a Consolidated.
