Wednesday nights are not good for me. Community village meetings, bars, middle of the week saloon breaks etc.

on the home page hit forums...mine shows forums and archives...mouse back over forums again and it adds in chat...click that and you are there...we missed you

I can not find the chat on my smart phone, but I was able to find it on the desk top. I think that is the biggest problem why there hasn't been much participation as most people I would think access the site with their phones.

Ha, You guys with those new fangled 'ventions. Can't beat my string and two empty bean cans for reliability. Am I the only one here who ever used one of these in real life?

well......looks 'zactly like the one we had on the farm in north dakota in the early 50's....and yes, platt number 1 school really was 1 room with the pottys outside....no heat, no stool, just the board with 2 holes in it....so glad dad moved!!!

Heading out to the privy in winter was a bi---h, My older brother and I had a "chamber pot" in the bedroom at night. Didn't get running water until early 50's. Really had an ice box. My job was to keep the drain pan emptied out so the melting ice wouldn't get the floor wet. Had water in milk cans with a dipper. Where those the 'good ol' days?'

OK Bill, Take my hand and I will guide you. On the very top of the page, right under the big "chrome 'V'" There are labels for Home, news, research, calendar, etc. Mouse over the label "Forums" a drop box will show up. Without lifting your mouse finger pull the little finger pointer down to "glassic chat" and then click on that.
I can't make it tomorrow eve, have a funeral for a dear friends son. |
