TOPIC: Alumacraft decal

Alumacraft decal 7 years 1 month ago #130663

Hello! I am on a quest to find a needle in a haystack...and apparently it is a big haystack.

Looking for OEM matching decals to finish up my '62 Alumacraft FD6. Have a pic of the fossilized glue leftover from original decals and a picture on this site that seemed to match the geometry of the decal. I can not find my way back to this picture to try to follow up with the boat owner as to where he found the decal. As I recall, this boat was a refurbish, so decal must have been available to him (her?....sorry!) to purchase.

If anyone out there watching/reading can offer any help, I am in your debt.

Regards,

Here's a website that has reproduction decals for a large number of boat manufacturers..

They show at least five different vintages of Alumacraft decals..

Die cut vinyl logos can be made by any sign shop that does auto and truck lettering. Bring them a picture of what you want and they scan and computerize it. I do this when I need new lettering for motors etc. Not original though. If you can find just one good original on line you can get it and make a mold then reproduce your own. Hobby shops/stores (Hobby Lobby) have everything you would need to make plastic molds.
