And just for fun, here's a video of me bombing around in it on a beautiful calm morning!Turn up the volume and listen to this engine purr! Kudo's to my father who always worked on it to keep it running perfectly.

Excellent Tim!!
Just browsing through the strings since I'm grounded for the holiday and came upon your thread. When you made the molds did you just press the old emblem into the medium and wing it from there?

Cal, I had two broken emblems. I epoxied them together to make one good emblem. If you look back at the thread, you'll see the blue coloured mould for the Chrysler logo and the Crestliner logo. I built a frame from some scrap wood I had and glued the logos face up on the bottom of each frame. I mixed some of the "Smooth On" epoxy mould making compound and poured it into the frame, right over the old logo(s). It dries quite quickly but I gave it about 5 hours. I ran a knife around the edge of the box and the mould just lifted right out. Didn't stick to anything. It made a perfect quality mould which I still have a can use to make more emblems.

Hello,
I have a 1968 Crestliner "Dane" 16 ft runabout that I am renewing. I have been looking high and low for these exact logos for the boat. The port side one is broken and missing parts.
I was wondering if you would be interested in selling one ? ( or a pair).
I am located on the north shore of Lake Erie in Ontario, Canada.
I will try to upload a pic of the logo on my boat.
Let me know if you can help out, and any details you might have in this case.
Thanks in advance,
Bob Gall

Sorry for the delay posting back to you. I'vr been bombing around in the Crestliner all summer! The logos are $40.00 each. They're moulded, hand painted, clear coated, drilled, and the holes all countersunk. Shipping and handling is additional.
