Anyone interested in barrelback found in barn?

Postby MtDoraGary on Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:30 am

My brother was looking at a Chris Craft Holiday ina friend's barn when he spotted a tarp in the shadows. he uncovered a barrel-back Chris Craft. The planking looks good, The transom has pulled away from the frame on the port side, so frame work needs to be done. It appears to be all there, hardware and all, but the upholstery has disintegrated. Engine needs complete rebuild. It's way to big a project for me - I'm pushing 70! I can send pictures and give you the contact if you are seriously interested. Locate dn Florence, AL

I'm gonna need a project starting next summer. This may be out of my league, but if you could send some pics, that would be great.

Hi Gary,

I am interested in knowing more about the Barrelback in the barn. I currently own a 1941 19' Chris-Craft Custom (Barrelback) and a 1952 18' Chris-Craft Riveira and am always on the lookout for rare wooden Chris-Crafts.

Can you provide any additional contact info, price expectations or pic's?
